I’ve always admired people who stand up on stage in front of many people to speak, sing or act. It takes a lot of courage and confidence to do that.
The person you’re about to see performing will surprise you. He’s not an adult or old but a 3-year-old boy and probably the youngest I’ve ever seen perform the National Anthem.
His performance is already melting hearts everywhere. Almost half a million have watched the video of him singing. You won’t help fall in love with this adorable little man!
3-year-old Drake Winslow is the youngest person to sing the National Anthem in the history of School Day game in Syracuse, New York.
This confident little boy not only sang his heart out but he did it in front of 6,000 people. Can you imagine it?
His amazing performance was met with a standing ovation.
“I just think he’s too little to realize how big of a deal it is,” said Drake’s mother, Chelsea, who stood by his side as he sang.
“We just try to stay calm for him and not really talk it up. We don’t ask him if he’s nervous. So then maybe he won’t think of that. I don’t he really knows what nervous is yet.”
His mom says her sweet son loves to sing around the house but his favorite song has always been Star Spangled Banner.
