Marcel Ampho was 68 years old and lived a quiet and bohemian life in the French Alps. He had almost completely withdrawn from the world and lived in a small, isolated shack with no running water or electricity.
But thanks to this simple lifestyle, a person will accumulate great wealth over time. He also inherited a property in the village of Puy-Saint-Pierre. It was the perfect setting for a luxury ski resort.
In a few years the property became very popular and the price rose considerably, but Marcel was never interested in selling it. Although there was no indication that he was rich, he built houses for some friends on his land and let them live there for free.
He didn’t seem interested in a relationship, but everything changed when he met Sandrine, then just 21, who arrived from Paris in 2010. She explained that she is a real estate agent and is interested in buying his land. Marcel refused from the start, but when Sandrine invited him to dinner, he didn’t refuse.
The two fall in love and get married, although her friends warn Neville that the woman only wants his money, but he seemed happy that he had finally found the love of his life.
Sandrine continued to live in Paris and said of her husband:
After a year of marriage, Marcel got into a car accident with Sandrine and two other friends. The driver lost control, Marcel died and the others survived. The woman is said to have had something to do with his death and at the funeral she was treated with hatred by everyone.
Announced as the sole heir, Sandrine became an overnight millionaire, telling all Marcel’s friends that she would fire them to build something else on this land.
But in the midst of the scandal, it turned out that shortly before his death Marcel had changed his will, leaving everything to his family and friends, while Sandrine received nothing. Although Sandrine sued her for forging signatures, the final verdict came in 2016: the signature was original.
