Jimmy Fallon is guilty of creating many of these perfect parodies of popular music videos from the 80s and 90s. This year, the team has teamed up to master the science of parody again with their stunning new music video for a another popular song from the 80s.

On Thursday night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, they released their new music video, which also served to avoid discussing potential spoilers about Rod’s new Avengers movie, Endgame. Instead, Fallon and Rod travel back in time to the 1980s for another entertaining musical adventure.

The famed singing and dancing duo returned to the music video scene to recreate Dead or Alive’s “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)” music video since 1985. Rudd took on the role of the band’s lead vocalist, the late Pete Burns and Fallon portrayed the late drummer Steve Coy.

From flawless wigs and flawless make-up to eye patches and imitating dances, they have stayed true to the source and produced nothing but high-quality branded performances.

Of course, the “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)” video isn’t Fallon and Rod’s first collaboration. The dynamic duo are best known for recreating Styx’s music video for their song from their 1981 triple-platinum album Paradise Theatre, “Too Much Time on My Hands” in 2016. They also created their own performance for the British pop duo , Go West 1990’s. “King of Video ‘Wishful Thinking'” in 2018, a song that appeared in the 1990 film Pretty Woman.
