Darius drove the car up to 100 miles an hour while trying to get his daughter to the hospital. A policeman turned on the headlights behind him, but Darius continued driving. Darius later said he refused to stop because he knew every second counted in the race to save his daughter’s life.
He went on to say that he couldn’t let anything happen to him.
Once in the hospital, Darius jumped out of the car with his daughter in his arms and ran to the hospital. Shortly after his baby girl was handed over to hospital staff, a group of police approached him.
Darius and the mother of his child, Dounisia, explained to the police that he was driving too fast because their little girl was choking.
However, their concern only seemed to stem from the fact that he was driving too fast. Darius was charged with a number of traffic offenses following the crash. To make matters worse, his driver’s license was invalid.
Donisia later went to the city jail to break Darius out of jail.
I was surprised to learn that someone had already paid the necessary money to secure his freedom.
Indeed, when Dounisia approached the window where the real clerk was waiting for her, she heard a woman’s voice saying that she was there to form Darius’ bond. However, the voice was unfamiliar to Duncia.
Darius and Dounisia soon learn that the woman who was paying to free Darius from prison was a nurse who worked at the provincial hospital in Toshet where they were taking their daughter. The nurse and the other nurses at the hospital stepped in to pay Darius bail after learning he was arrested for making sure his daughter got to the hospital in time to save her life.
