Jenny found that Walter had walked home all night on his first day at work and was impressed. She turned to her husband and said, “You’re not going to believe what he did to get here.
Tell him Walter.” Walter said, “I walked.” It was him. Humble. I asked him to share more and when he did, the crew was in awe of him too!
I don’t know if Walter would have participated if I hadn’t asked him. “Walter’s story and dedication inspired Jenny, so she took to Facebook to write a post about the whole experience which quickly went viral.
It’s an incredible story. Walter’s boldness and heart aptly define Bilhope’s culture. I’m really proud to be part of the same team as Walter… We set a high standard of service and he just upped it. We look forward to thanking him in person this week. https://t.co/Fr4ytu5CM1

Since the virus went viral, Bellhops CEO Luke Marklin has seen Jenny’s work and has been incredibly humbled. He wrote on Twitter: “This is an incredible story.

We look forward to thanking him in person this week. Luke had already thanked him, thanked him for giving Walter something so he never had to walk to work again… his own car.
Walter broke down in tears and kept saying “Oh my God, thank you so much.”
After getting in the car and realizing Luke’s gift, Walter said to everyone who was there, “Thank you so much to all of you, I didn’t think my story would come to this, I just wanted to get to my job. and show that I do, I’m dedicated to the job, I didn’t think everyone would do their best.” To really share my story, I didn’t think my story would ever go this far.
He also gave special thanks to Jenny for writing his post and sharing Walter’s experience.
