Florida Police Officer Joe Puglia was driving along the freeway when he saw a dog hit a car right in front of him. The dog was brutally beaten and thrown into the alleys in a moment of cardiac arrest.

The policeman immediately stopped his car and set up a barrier so that he could get out and take care of the dog.

The officer wrapped the dog in an emergency blanket and took him to the nearest veterinary hospital. “I thought he was dead,” Joe said.
