“We’ve never had a quarrel,” June emphasized in her conversation with WLWT. “Not a single one.”
Hubert echoed her sentiment when speaking to Today, saying, “We’ve had our share of life’s challenges, but we’ve always prioritized not hurting each other.”
Hubert shared an insight into their conflict resolution strategy, saying, “If a disagreement arises, sometimes you just need to step away for a few minutes.”

Hubert emphasized their genuine enjoyment of each other’s company, saying, “We’ve never felt the need to go out much. When the kids were younger, we found joy in sitting around the table, sharing stories about our day. We’ve lived a truly wonderful life.”
In 2022, June will celebrate her 100th birthday on July 13, and Hubert will reach the same milestone on July 23. They plan to mark this significant occasion with an intimate gathering of loved ones and a church service in their backyard.
With a beautiful family that has grown to include three children, seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, Hubert never forgets the solid foundation he and June have built together, noting, “It’s as if, when we’re not together, the team is incomplete
