Cameras captured the enchanting moment when Mike, along with his son Cale and their horse Grady, approached the school pick-up line. Grady sported the mandatory car rider pick-up tag for students, showcasing the charming scene. Mike, donning a cowboy hat, exuded the image of a genuine cowboy dad as they approached Cale at the school. In contrast, Cale, who learned to ride horses at a young age, was perfectly at ease with the unconventional ride home.
According to Mike, Cale, who has participated in youth rodeos, has an immense love for everything related to horses and aspires to be just like his dad.
The Deer Creek School District shared a heartwarming video of the father-son duo on Facebook. The footage captured Mike bringing the two horses to a stop in front of Cale, who then received a boost onto Grady’s saddle.
The caption read, “If this isn’t the sweetest way to get picked up on the last day of school, we aren’t sure what is! 🤠💙” The district spokesperson emphasized that Mr. Moorman adhered to safety protocols, with Cale’s horse even sporting his car rider pick-up tag. The video showcased Cale putting on a cowboy hat helmet before departing to ensure his safety while riding.
Cale later shared that his schoolmates were thoroughly impressed by the gesture, bringing joy not only to him but also putting a big smile on Mike’s face. He expressed, “People got to pet the horses. I was as happy as the kids.”
