“I don’t count it a burden whatsoever, I count it a great privilege to care for this one I have loved all these years,” Bill expressed. “She’s my princess, and I’m her William, and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” he added.
Despite the joy Bill finds in caring for Gladys, it saddened him that she could no longer enjoy their time outdoors. This led to a remarkable idea: a tandem bicycle that would allow Gladys to relish the ride while Bill handled the pedaling. With careful planning, Bill worked tirelessly on the design until it was perfect. The result was a success! The specially designed bike allows Gladys to sit in the front seat while Bill sits behind her, pedaling along. As they journey down the road, Bill can point out things to his wife, bringing some cheer to her life.
