Strangely, Mother Lori found a new husband and traveled with him to Hawaii, but her children were still missing. Her new husband’s wife died just thirteen days before the wedding. The kids disappeared just weeks after she moved with them from Arizona to Idaho in 2019.
Laurie was extradited to Idaho after failing to have children, and Chad was arrested later that year after J. Tylee’s bodies were discovered on his ranch.
Lori Vallow Daybell and her husband Chad Daybell are both in custody in Idaho, facing accusations in the killings of her children. They’re also facing charges in connection with the deaths of their former spouses. In Idaho, both defendants pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutors are requesting a joint trial for them. Lori was also subjected to a mental health assessment.
The trial could be postponed until January 2023, and they could be sentenced to death.
