Christian usually wears headphones at these rallies, catches up on his favorite podcasts and enjoys the scenery around him. However, he felt that he should continue to forgo headphones and keep his eyes and ears open while walking the puppy.
Christian’s instinct that this walk would be different became true when his dog, who had a calm demeanor while walking, started acting very strangely.
The puppy began to pull on the leash and make strange noises, pulling Christian hard in a certain direction.
Christian could not resist his dog’s urge to go in a certain direction and soon saw that his dog was heading straight into a particular area of swampy pasture. The two of them continued to cut through the water field towards what the dog found interesting.
As they continued to walk, Christian and his dog’s ears buzzed when they heard small moans and squeaks coming from some tall grass in the field. He immediately realized that his dog was pulling him in exactly that direction.
He let the dog lead him deeper and deeper into the flooded swamp, and the field became wetter with each step.
Christian followed his impatient puppy until he came across a small blue basket. The little whine they heard came from inside the basket. Christian looked around to find 4 abandoned dogs, apparently only a few days old. The poor puppies were wet and dirty.
Christian immediately picked up the pups and brought them home, thanking his hero dog for finding these furry treasures. Bring them home and set up a home with a mother dog who has also recently given birth, allowing the puppies to be weaned off the happy dog’s milk.
