When people focus on their day, they may not pay attention to others. This is especially true in crowded public places such as a train station.

It’s easy to get lost in your own world and stay focused on yourself and your thoughts.

One day, on a train, a woman in a red coat noticed that a teenager was having trouble tying a tie. I asked him if he knew how to do it.

He said he didn’t know how.
The wife was traveling with her husband and asked him to show the teenager how to tie the tie correctly. The man did more than just tie the teen’s tie. He asked the young man to repeat the steps loudly and practically.

The teenager learned to tie the tie instead of letting the man do it for him.

This young man now knows how to do it for himself, and will know how to teach others when the opportunity arises.

The teenager was surprised. Not all seniors treat teens this kind or take the time to teach them a basic skill.

The young man was happy to receive help, was polite to the couple and grateful to have learned a lesson that would last a lifetime.

The community was affected by this gesture. Everyone on the train was delighted to see this kind act. When the story was posted on social media, everyone who read it had a positive reaction. We need more good news like this!
