Holding his phone in his hand, Tyler asks Sarwar to come to the door and says “So we want to tip you tonight”. It’s also completely unheard of – many delivery drivers accept cash tips during their shift. Sarwar was probably expecting a small tip of $10 which he could use to pay for gas.
Tyler Patterson surprises his delivery driver
“What good advice? I want to make your night,” Tyler said. That’s an understatement. Sarwar looks surprised at the question and says he doesn’t need tip. But Tyler didn’t take that for an answer. Sarwar hands over a large bundle of cash and says, “We want to give you…it’s five hundred dollars. Are you okay?”
Yes, you read that right. A five hundred dollar tip for delivering food to someone’s house! Can you imagine anything more generous?
At first, Sarwar looked shocked. We would also be shocked if someone offered us that kind of money! He seems a bit confused at first but happily accepts the money. “Mine?” He asks like he can’t believe someone is so generous.
After watching this video, Tyler apparently made Sarwar’s day. In fact, he’s probably done his whole week! Tyler and his dad are incredibly generous people, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for the people of Wichita.
