Dogs are man’s “best friend” and nothing beats their loyalty. And their unconditional love is something that cannot be measured. Just look at this dog named Tony who was devastated when his father was injured.

Jesus Huichi was outside his house trimming a tree when he slipped and fell off a ladder. He fell six feet off the ground, and hit his head on the concrete pavement, rendering him unconscious. Tony ran and sat next to his owner.

Emergency crews showed up and treated the injured man’s neck, and the dog refused to budge. Tony will continue to protect the man who saved his life as a street hustler.

Jesus came to himself at last and was able to pat Tony on the head to tell him he would be fine.

But when it came time to load Jesus into the ambulance to take him to the hospital, Tony tried to join him. He couldn’t go to the hospital with his owner, but he wouldn’t have to wait long for the two of them to be reunited.

Jesus’ injuries were minor and he was released shortly after to be with his dog again. The images have gone viral and are proof that dogs are humans’ most wonderful companions. Jesus rescued and adopted Tony, and Tony was able to reciprocate his father. Where would they be without each other.. Image credits: Def Civil B. Blanca, LA BRÚJULA 24 h/t – the dodo
