For example, this duck visits the hospital every year when its new family hatches. It is located in upstate New York at the MM Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua and has been in operation for several years.

Every year, the mother duck comes to her house at random at the right time. Take a tour of the facility and then leave with the newborn ducklings. Staff at the MM Ewing Continuing Care Center took photos of the mother duck and watermelon and shared them on the official Facebook page of their parent company, Thompson Health.

Pictures of the mother duck and her new chicks have also been shared.

Residents and staff at the facility were only aware of the annual visit, but that changed when things were uploaded to Facebook.

It didn’t take long for people to use all of these photos to let Thompson’s health know how much she meant them.
