According to CBS, Maribel and Anthony had a wonderful wedding reception in February 2019. The night was exceptional for the couple and their guests (guests). The ceremony went off without a hitch and the couple headed to the Doubletree Ballroom to celebrate their union with family and closest friends.
As usual, a box was set out for guests to drop off their cards and gifts for the couple to begin their new life together. The couple never thought twice about the box; they thought it was safe because they were surrounded by the people who mattered most to them. However, they soon realized that was not the case.
As the 100 guests celebrated the couple having fun dancing the night away, Anthony soon realized the box was missing, but waited until after the service to tell the bride so as not to upset her. He slipped away to talk to hotel security. They quickly saw on the surveillance tape that a stranger in a suit had clearly pretended to be a guest before grabbing the box and running out the exit door.
