Pink, renowned for hits like “So What” and “Who Knew,” surprised her audience at a recent New York City concert with a special announcement. The global superstar revealed that she would be sharing the stage for a duet with a military veteran from the audience, and the unexpected twist was that the veteran was none other than her father.

Jim Moore, Pink’s father, served in the United States military during the Vietnam War. Elite Herald reported that almost four decades ago, while deployed overseas, Jim composed a song titled “I Have Seen The Rain.” This was the song they were about to perform together. Pink credited her father as the driving force behind her remarkable musical journey.

Welcoming Jim to the stage, Pink affectionately referred to him as her favorite person, eliciting cheers and applause from the audience as they shared a heartwarming hug. Despite his lack of prior experience performing in front of crowds, Jim exuded confidence, prompting cheers and applause when he asked, “Are we ready?”

The father-daughter duo showcased incredible chemistry, delivering a moving and emotional performance. The onstage connection between Pink and Jim underscored the profound influence and support Jim provided throughout Pink’s musical career
