While filming alongside some fellow guides, Chris found himself in the company of Jabu. To everyone’s amusement, Jabu playfully snatched the tour guide’s hat with his trunk and promptly placed it on his own head.
Balancing the hat with his trunk, Jabu proudly flaunted his newfound accessory, prompting Chris and the other guides to burst into laughter.
After reveling in his mischievous act for a while, Jabu carefully returned the hat to Chris, showcasing his gentle nature. Chris mentioned that Jabu wasn’t trained to perform such antics; he simply acted on his own accord. What a delightful and playful character! Chris admitted he had never witnessed anything quite like it before.
Jabu’s familiarity with the sanctuary camp’s guides enabled him to instinctively brighten their day. Fortunately, Chris had his camera on hand to capture this heartwarming and utterly endearing moment
