When I started watching this video, I didn’t know what to expect. It looked like people were going about their daily business in Warsaw, Poland, but suddenly everyone froze.

It wasn’t a movie hoax, it was something the townspeople did every year to pay their respects.

On August 1 each year, the whole city freezes for one minute to commemorate the loss of 1.5 million Poles during World War II.

It is their way of honoring those who lost their lives during this terrible war.
