According to US Weekly, she wrote:
“Reach my goal in a month to lose it. Although it’s not about weight, it’s about health, I needed a concrete measure to aim for and c was 75kg.”
She went on to say that she wanted to provide more information about her trip: “I want to go live on Insta Tuesday night when I’m back in the US to share some stuff with you guys and thank everyone for their support. S000 until then…6pm New York time.”
In another post shared by the star in January, Wilson had some encouraging words for others who might find themselves stumbling on their health journeys.
“Even if you have to crawl toward your goals, keep going, it will be worth it,” she wrote. “Try to put in a little effort every day. I know some days are so frustrating, you feel like giving up, and you’re upset about not making progress…but good things are waiting for you.”
Known for her practical and honest approach to life, Wilson went on to explain her goals in her post: “I’m going to be honest with you guys – on the ‘Year of Health’ mission, I’m trying to hit 75kg and professionally, [I’m] trying to make one of my films before the end of the year!”
The star spent November at the VivaMayr Spa Resort in Austria to make sure she hit her goal. The luxury spa and wellness center offers a comprehensive weight loss plan with a customized fitness and nutrition plan. The actress told People magazine at the time that she chose to come back “to strengthen her immune system and lose her last two pounds.
“I came back because 2021 was going to be an incredibly busy year with project after project, so I wanted to come back to VivaMayr,” Wilson said.
The resort helps its clients achieve their fitness goals by following the “Mayr Way,” which is based on the Mayr Cure. Developed more than a century ago by Austrian physician Dr. Franz Xaver Mayer, this treatment involves eliminating snacks, reducing sugar and gluten intake, and changing the way patients chew their food.
According to the day, followers of the method begin with “light fasting” and a monotonous diet to detoxify the body. After the detoxification process is complete, patients are encouraged to eliminate dairy products and eat foods that are high in alkaline, such as fish and vegetables.
Along with the schedule, Wilson took many foreign trips and got up early to adjust to her workouts. This perfect combination of fitness and diet gave her the last boost she needed to achieve her goal.
Dr. Maximilian Schubert, VivaMayr’s medical director, told today that their philosophy doesn’t include an obsession with calories.
