A Security Worker Who is a Self-Confessed Performer Takes Center Stage During Football Game

During a recent football game at the University of Tennessee, a security worker named Ty Galyean stole the show with his smooth moves. However, it turns out that Galyean is no stranger to performing, as he confessed that he immediately agreed to act and dance when the Spirit Program at UT approached him with the idea. Galyean, who worked as sideline security during the game, was approached by the dance team’s coach, Kelly Tafazzoli, who knew that he could pull off the performance.

Galyean’s performance during the game, which involved both acting and dancing, was caught on camera and quickly went viral on TikTok. However, Galyean revealed that what impacted him the most was the joy he brought to people by making them smile.

In an interview with WIVK, Galyean embraced his newfound fame and even coined the moniker “blue shirt guy.” He said that his main goal is to make people smile, and he was glad that he was able to accomplish that during the football game.

Overall, Galyean’s performance was a welcome break from the usual routine at the football games, according to Taffazoli. The coach said that it was nice to have something different, and Galyean certainly delivered with his impressive moves.
