Matt had an old VCR, so he put it on eBay one day. He didn’t need it because no one used a VCR anymore. An 86-year-old man from Phoenix bought a VCR for $40. This was the first time he had made a purchase on eBay.

Matt thought he would send a VCR to the guy who bought it, and he thought the guy would give it a positive review and rating. Instead, he received a letter one day and excitedly invited his girlfriend to join him.

He thought she would like to see what was in the mail. Within minutes of starting to read the letter, they both burst into tears.

The man said he saw tapes from his retirement party 25 years ago. Never seen these pictures before. He also took the opportunity to watch his wedding and really enjoyed the shots of family and friends who are no longer with us.

He also watched ski trips and his kids growing up. Every video he played made his joy grow, and he said it was thanks to Matt for his generous consent to sell his VCR. The man wrote a letter to Matt because he wanted to tell him how much he appreciated his gesture.
