In the end, Sophia decided to return all the notes her stepfather gave her during the six-year period in an elegant glass-covered frame. As he tore up the paper this Father’s Day, we’re not sure he expected the propensity of the gift his daughter-in-law was returning to him.
Appearing completely confused at first and then stunned, it’s obvious that this gift meant more to Sophia’s stepfather than anything he could have received. As tears welled up in her eyes, you could see her genuine appreciation for her daughter-in-law who had taken her heartfelt words and intentions to heart over the years.
