Teenagers are exposed to many preconceptions about laziness and selfishness. Of course, there are irresponsible teenagers, many of whom are portrayed as rebellious criminals.
However, don’t judge a book by its cover. For example, take 15-year-old Romemylion Mitchell.
Every day before school, this brave young man gets up early to watch over his elderly neighbors. Since he was a child, his family has lived opposite an elderly couple.
Romemylion is like any other teenager who goes to school and hangs out with his friends. He never forgets to greet his elderly neighbors and help them with the easy things.
Romemylion began visiting the couple every morning before school as their health deteriorated to see if they needed anything. Although he has no obligation to help them, he hates seeing people suffer in silence.
Teenagers often go shopping for them. Unfortunately, the couple’s daughter, Tiki Joyner Edwards, lives away from her parents. It comforts her to know that her parents live near a caring teenager who helps them with everyday life.
Tiki Joyner Edwards wrote the following Facebook post about Romemylion’s good deeds.
“I just want to take a moment and get to know this nice gentleman who lives across the street from my dad. He watches them every day and their love and care has grown deep. He rides with my dad to the store, helps him with the groceries and bring the groceries… cut the grass and whatever else they may need.”
Rommillion Mitchell, 15, is a shining example of how to be a good human being.
It’s important to remember that there are a lot of nice guys who really care!
Tiki Joyner-Edwards said: “When he saw my mum today he burst into tears and hugged her. What a blessing and I just wanted to convey something comforting rather than the sad news we are seeing. and hear every day.”
When Tiki’s mother, Cianne, ended up in the hospital, Romemylion came to give her a hug – which meant a lot to the old woman.
However, I truly believe that most people have good hearts and strive to do good in the world.
So instead of complaining, we should focus on positive examples like Romemylion!
His parents must be very proud of the wonderful and loving young man that he is!
