A Florida woman named Caroline Raichel suffered two days of beatings and gun threats at the hands of her then-boyfriend, convicted felon Jeremy Floyd. On the third day Caroline decided to do something to escape so she came up with a plan. It was a risky and dangerous plan, but the abused woman could not bear this terrible situation, she is ready to seize the opportunity. The 28-year-old persuaded Floyd to take her dog to the vet. Floyd, even though he was traveling with her, agreed to have a loaded gun in his pocket. On the way to the clinic, Floyd pointed the gun at Caroline and threatened to kill her and her family. As soon as they arrived, I went to the washroom and probably wrote down the note that saved her, and passed it on to one of the staff at the vet. The note read: “Call the police. My boyfriend is threatening me. He has a gun. Please don’t let him know.” The worker took the note seriously, immediately called the authorities and told them everything she knew. The staff then pretended to continue their duties, and Rachel and Floyd waited together in a side room. Soon the cops arrived and arrested Floyd. It is now tainted by a number of offenses including domestic violence, aggravated assault with a firearm, forcible confinement, simple assault, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The victim was taken to hospital and treated for his injuries, which included a cut to the head, black eyes, bruises on his arms and legs, and scratches on his hands and fingers.
