Most of people enjoy watching talent shows. The comedy skits, the songs, the dance routines, you never get tired of watching amazing talents displayed on stage. But the most amazing part about watching these shows is you get to see not only the impressive, formal acts – but also the comical, silly ones as well! These people get to show the world what they’re made of: from synchronized ring tossing, to silly ventriloquism skits, to the playing of unique instruments. No matter what the talent is the good, the bad, and the ugly! they have one chance to display their true talent and impress spectators and jury. When the curtains open for the following skit, the audience isn’t quite sure what to expect…
At this show in particular, you’re about to see a different talent you’ve probably never seen before. When the black curtains open slowly, swooping up from the center as they draw, revealing 6 men in white t-shirts putting on black sunglasses, The boys at first are quiet and still. Suddenly, the man on the left starts snapping his fingers. Then the boy next to him joins in, then the third and so on. At last, all the boys are snapping at once and this is when the real show begins.
In excellent unison, they start patting their knees. While maintaining a perfect beat, each young man reaches over his hand and pats his neighbor’s knees, then his own chest, then crisscrosses his hands to pat his own knees once again. The incredible routine keeps on like this, in total silence, you can only hear the sound of patting.
