A school administration in Colorado got the taste of an angry populace when they tried to suspend a little girl for supporting her sick friend. You can bet they’ll never try this again!
Kamryn Renfro and Delaney Clements are best friends and they learn in the same class. Delaney has been dealing with cancer, a condition that led to her losing her hair. Her best friend knew what she was going through, and she couldn’t let her carry the burden alone. She shaved!
Kamryn shaved herself bald so she and her friend could look the same. Delaney didn’t have to be the only bald student. However, the school didn’t like her move. They suspended her!
Apparently, the school rules don’t allow baldness. Funny, uh? But what the school didn’t expect was just how charged this story would be if someone told people about it. Kamryn’s mom posted about it online, and people got very angry. Numerous calls were made, and even the media took up the story. The school had no choice but to allow her back!
