The “most magical place on Earth” is getting pricier—once again.

The Walt Disney Company is increasing ticket prices across the board for its two flagship U.S. theme parks: Disney World in Orlando and Disneyland in Anaheim.

The price hikes, set to take effect Wednesday, were first reported by Disney-focused news outlet MickeyVisit.com.

Tickets to Walt Disney World in Orlando are more expensive as the company hiked prices yet again.

Ticket prices at Walt Disney World in Orlando and Disneyland are rising again.

At Disneyland, the biggest increase hit top-tier tickets. The Tier 6 one-day pass—valid on the busiest, highest-demand days—jumped $18 to a record $224 per adult, marking a 126% increase over the past decade.

The five-day Park Hopper, which allows entry to both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure on the same day for up to five consecutive days, rose $39 to $655, up nearly 108% in 10 years.

Annual passes also saw sharp increases. The Inspire Key, Disneyland’s top-tier annual pass, climbed $150 to $1,899, while the Believe Key, the second-highest tier, went up $100 to $1,474. Disneyland’s Lightning Lane Multi Pass—its paid skip-the-line service—also increased 6.25% to $34 when purchased in advance.

At Walt Disney World, peak one-day tickets surpassed the $200 mark for the first time, rising $10 to $209. Annual passes increased by $20 across all tiers, with prices now starting at $80.

The steepest increases hit Disneyland’s top-tier tickets, with the Tier 6 one-day pass -- the ticket that is purchased on the busiest, highest-demand days -- jumping $18 to a record $224 per adult.

Parking fees also rose $5, from $30 to $35 for both standard and preferred spots, marking one of the broadest coast-to-coast price surges in years.

There is some relief for budget-conscious visitors. The lowest one-day ticket, the Tier 0 pass, remains unchanged at $104 for adults and $98 for children—the same prices since 2019—and now applies to 38 days in 2025, up from just 15 last year.

Disney officials told MickeyVisit.com that the hikes reflect rising labor costs and ongoing park expansions, noting that cast member wages have more than doubled since 2015, while the cheapest ticket has risen only $5 over the same period.

Annual passes also saw significant increases. Disneyland’s top-tier Inspire Key rose $150 to $1,899.

The company is introducing a new California Resident Park Hopper deal: three days for $249—about $83 per day—valid Jan. 1 through May 21, 2026.

Altogether, these changes mean a family of four could now spend nearly $900 for a single busy-day visit to Disneyland, before accounting for food, souvenirs, or parking, making “The Happiest Place on Earth” one of the priciest destinations, too.

Social media reactions were harsh, with veteran parkgoers calling it the last straw. One Reddit user wrote, “I think they have already hit the price limits people are willing to pay for a lot of things.” Another said, “The last price hike and cuts were enough to make me stop after being a pass/key holder for 19 years.” A third added, “I’m done at this point. I paid last year after the price hike but I’m not going to renew. Disney keeps taking away things while raising prices.”

A Disney spokesperson told The Post: “Disney Parks offer a full day of experiences each day, with ticket, hotel, and dining options designed to suit a wide range of needs and budgets for all who visit. Our commitment to creating magical experiences for everyone remains at the heart of what we do—and that will never change.”

Disney noted that these increases are the smallest in several years, with five of seven ticket tiers rising 3% or less at Disneyland.

Disney parkgoers on social media vented their frustration over the latest price hikes.

The company highlighted that the lowest-tier ticket, at $104, has remained unchanged for seven years, even as cast member wages more than doubled during that period.

At Walt Disney World, Disney said both starting and high-end prices will remain steady through October 2026, citing strong demand and new savings offers, including free dining for kids for an entire year.

Still, vacationers may need to get creative to manage costs.

“There are still ways for guests to plan a budget Disney vacation,” Gavin Doyle, founder of MickeyVisit.com, told The Post. “Those who are willing to be flexible with travel dates and responsive to Disney deals throughout the year will be rewarded with lower prices and discounts on nearby hotels.”

Disney officials cited the rising cost of labor as one of the factors that contributed to the price hikes.

For visitors looking to save money, Gavin Doyle recommended more affordable lodging options in Anaheim, including the Castle Inn & Suites, the newly refurbished Hilton Anaheim, Cambria Hotel & Suites, and The Anaheim Hotel. “At Walt Disney World, we find Disney’s All-Star Resorts to be a great value for the money,” he added.

The theme parks division has long been a major revenue driver for Disney—a key reason insiders believe Josh D’Amaro, current chairman of Disney Experiences, is the leading candidate to succeed CEO Bob Iger.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney Experiences—which encompasses theme parks, cruise ships, and consumer products—has been the company’s most profitable segment. This year alone, the division generated $8.12 billion in profit, roughly a third more than Disney’s film, streaming, and sports businesses combined.

The Post has reached out to Disney for comment.
