Sarah Ferguson Stands by Prince Andrew After Both Lose Royal Titles Amid Epstein Fallout

Sarah Ferguson is standing by her former husband, Prince Andrew, after both were stripped of their royal titles and honors amid renewed scrutiny of the prince’s ties to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Friends tell Page Six that Ferguson, 66, “will always stand by Andrew,” even after the Duke agreed to relinquish his title and cease using all royal styles and honors following discussions with King Charles III.

Ferguson — who divorced Andrew in 1996 but continues to live with him at the Royal Lodge in Windsor — is also set to lose her courtesy title of Duchess of York.

Sarah Ferguson is standing by her former husband, Prince Andrew, after both were stripped of their royal titles and honors following renewed scrutiny over his ties to the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

“Sarah will always stand by Andrew; she will always have love for him,” a friend told Page Six.

Another source added that Ferguson remains unfazed by the latest developments, saying, “Sarah is relaxed … it’s always been a courtesy title.”

Buckingham Palace confirmed Friday that Andrew, 65, had agreed to step back from using his titles, noting the decision was made “in discussion with The King, and [his] immediate and wider family.”

The move comes in the wake of revelations from Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice — a posthumous memoir by Virginia Giuffre — in which she alleged she was forced by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to have sex with the prince when she was 17.

Prince Andrew has consistently denied all allegations.

In 2022, the prince settled a civil lawsuit brought by Giuffre for a reported $12 million, avoiding a trial. Giuffre, 41, died by suicide in April.

Sarah Ferguson has also faced renewed scrutiny for her own past connections to Epstein.
