French media reported that a video shows one of the suspected Louvre jewel thieves brazenly slicing through a glass display case with a mini chainsaw before fleeing with the loot during Sunday’s heist at the Paris museum.

The brief clip, shared by French outlet BFMTV, shows the alleged thief casually cutting into the protective case while wearing a yellow hi-vis jacket over a black hoodie.

During Sunday’s audacious raid, a total of nine priceless pieces from France’s Crown Jewels were stolen. One of the items—a crown that once belonged to Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III—was later recovered, French magistrate Laure Beccuau told Le Parisien.

“We have CCTV footage from the museum itself,” she said, noting that the suspected thieves were highly “prepared” and “organized.”

Authorities have not yet released the identities of the robbers, who reportedly drove an aerial work platform to the side of the world-famous gallery before using miniature chainsaws to break in through a window.
