Boy with Down’s syndrome gets turned down by everyone – then one girl asks him to school dance and gets surprise she’ll never forget

Finding a date for a school dance is a high priority for any 17-year-old, so it can be a tough blow to one’s self-confidence if no one agrees to go with them.

Prom night is one of the most special events in a teen’s life, so if someone couldn’t find a date for the big night, it can be a tough blow to their self-confidence.

Daniel Rivas, a 17-year-old was worried about finding a partner. The young boy with Down’s Syndrome was rejected by every girl he asked to his school’s homecoming dance.

However, Kyile Fronius noticed how Daniel’s was sad for being turned down by the other girls, she made his day by asking him to the dance. What she could never have known is that it would be her who would have the biggest surprise of her life.

Daniel gave a smile to light a fire when Kylie asked if they could go to the homecoming dance together.

“I don’t think of kids that have a disability as being different,” Kylie reportedly told Fox5 news. “I think of them just being a normal person, learning in a different way.”

When the word of Kylie’s fine gesture began to spread around school. someone suggested that the Fox5 TV channel send a surprise team to the homecoming dance to do a feature on the pair.

Kylie and Daniel had just taken the usual pre-dance photos when Fox5 sent a Rolls Royce to take the couple to the dance in fine fashion.

That wasn’t all, though. On the way, they made a pit-stop at a luxury restaurant where the pair could eat together alongside Daniel’s mom.

“I usually drive past here often, but always think it’s completely impossible to bring the kids here because it’s so expensive,” Daniel’s mom told Fox5.

That wasn’t the end of it, though. No, after Kylie and Daniel had their fun at the homecoming dance, Fox5 revealed that they were sending them both to Disneyland with their families.

Well this certainly warmed my heart. It just goes to prove the old adage ‘the more you give, the more you get back’.
