Nicole Chamberlain doesn’t want to take credit for her good work. She claims she was in the right place at the right time.

As an employee of the Waukesha Metro Transit System, Nicole told FOX6 that she was driving her normal route in Waukesha, Wis., on a particularly cold fall day. Cold temperatures have swept across the Midwest, taking some residents by surprise since November alone.

Surveillance video from the bus documents Nicole’s sighting of two young children standing alone outside. Nicole can’t believe her eyes when she sees the adorable children standing in the freezing cold dressed in rough clothes for the current conditions.

This morning the wind chill dropped to just three degrees above zero according to Fox News. The 6-year-old boy wore only pants and a t-shirt while the 2-year-old boy wore only a t-shirt and a diaper. None of the siblings were wearing coats or any other type of protective clothing.

Not only were the children not dressed appropriately for the weather, but they were also left alone without adult supervision. Nicole was very worried when she saw the couple walking towards a busy intersection.

It was later revealed that the two had moved away from home. Fortunately, Nicolehem noticed this and took quick action to divert his course from what could have been a dire situation.
