“Home Alone” actor Daniel Stern, 68, was hospitalized earlier this month following a medical emergency.
The Ventura County Fire Department told TMZ that on October 7, they responded to a residence in Somis, California, where an individual required assessment by firefighters and transport to a nearby hospital.
According to TMZ sources, the individual was Stern, who has since been released from the hospital.
Daniel Stern attended the 35th Santa Barbara International Film Festival in January 2020.
Stern’s representative confirmed to TMZ that he is “now doing well.”
The Post has reached out to the Ventura County Fire Department and Stern’s representative for further comment.
Stern is best known for his role as Marv Murchins in the 1990 comedy Home Alone, directed by Chris Columbus and starring Macaulay Culkin and Joe Pesci. He reprised the role in the 1992 sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
