Some of talents are God-given. One of the people who possess this kind of talents is Father Ray Kelly. Before becoming an internet sensation with his incredible voice, Father Kelly spent his days as the priest of St. Brigid’s and St. Mary’s parish at Oldcastle, County Meath, Ireland. He spent most of his waking times thinking about God and how his word heals all, something else Father Kelly loved to do, it is singing. Sometimes, He would sing when friends and loved ones are gathered – He had no idea his beautiful voice would lead him to the Britain’s Got Talent stage.
Instead of keeping his voice for himself and his friends, he decides to share it with the jury, audience, and millions of people watching the show at home. He started belting out the lyrics of “Everybody Hurts” by REM. The judges were immersed by his beautiful performance, Father Kelly is someone who has faith in God and him, he gathered all the courage and sang his heart out. The question is: was this performance was enough to make him move to the next round?
As he continued to sing, some of people in the audience began to cheer. But the moment he finished his audition, the audience went completely wild! His voice was both powerful and smooth which is a combination you can not find it in all singers and the audience were touched by it!
