Margaret Penny spent 25 years in the medical field. Margaret decided to go back to school and become a registered nurse. It was not easy, but Margaret made it to her pinning ceremony. Her determination and efforts paid off at last.

However, something was missing in her life. Margaret had not seen her son, Sgt. Dustin Pierce, for quite some time.

Dustin was deployed to Kuwait but returned to the US for his mother’s ceremony. However, he told his mother he would not make it to the ceremony. Margaret was disappointed because she missed her son and wanted Dustin to do the pinning.

Traditionally, the graduate chooses someone who loves them to do the pinning. Dustin had played a major role in making his mom go back to school.

Unknown to her, her friends and co-workers had a major surprise in store. However, one colleague had a hard time trying to keep the good news to herself. Luckily, she did not reveal the surprise.

Imagine the PRICELESS look on Margaret’s face when her son’s name is called out. She could not hold her tears.
