When mom Milissa Davis notices a sudden and an unusual change in her son’s behavior, she felt something was wrong.

Having no idea what to do to investigate more, she decided to send her son, Camden to his school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a hidden microphone.

Milissa have never imagined that her son would experience such horrifying thing in his school after she checked up the recordings.

12-year-old Camden Davis, started peeing the bed and becoming more and more aggressive at home. His mom, Milissa, began to worry and doubt her son who suffers from severe autism is being mistreated at school. Milissa had to do something to know the truth. She tried first with her son, but Camden has difficulties to verbalize what he was going through.

Then, the worried mom went to her son’s school to get some answers, but they did nothing to help. That’s when her doubts grew and she decided to handle the situation herself. One day, she had a rather genius idea.

She hid a microphone in Camden’s backpack so that she could hear everything going around him while he’s in school. When she heard the sound recordings, she was in complete shock.

From the recordings, Milissa found out that her son was being mocked and harassed by two of his teachers.

“You’re just writing the word. What is hard about it?” one of the speakers can be heard, in the recording shared by WBRZ Channel 2. In the same clip, the teacher can be heard mimicking Camden when he struggles to reply.

In another part of the recording, the two teachers were saying that the boy wouldn’t “make it for a minute” in public school.

When Milissa played the tape back, she couldn’t believe it was true.

“I just wanted to cry, scream and do everything I could because it was so bad,” Davis said to WBRZ Channel 2. “To think that I had sent my son there every day, and what had happened before, that I didn’t know about.”

The mother couldn’t stay aside and watch her son being mistreated in such horrible way,so she shared her findings on social media, where they has been quickly and wildly shared. Soon later, many TV companies picked up the voice recordings. The teachers in question ended up losing their jobs. According to WBRZ Channel 2, the school has also apologized profusely, both to the boy and to his family.

Milissa didn’t want to keep her son in the school so she moved him to a new one, and says he’s doing fine despite being left saddened by the even.

She also showed her gratitude for people who stood by her side and supported her during the difficult times.

“Thank you Baton Rouge for everything you did,” Davis said. “People see these children need to be protected, and I was protecting my child because I knew things were going wrong.”
