All this happened in the construction company “Monserrat”. CCTV footage captured the incident in the building’s reception area. A mother and her young son can be seen walking from the lift nearby just before the crash. Delivery man with them.
While the mother waits, the curious little child heads for the banister of the nearby staircase. He raises his hands, thinking maybe there’s a plate of glass between the railing. Jumping forward, he loses his balance.
Within seconds, the little boy begins to fall into the empty space.
His mother, who appeared to be receiving a phone call at the time, got to work. She lunged at her son and managed to catch him before he started to leave.
The delivery man saw the boy swinging and immediately ran upstairs in hopes of catching the boy if he fell. Almost immediately after that, the other construction personnel ran to help.
Fortunately, the mother’s quick actions saved the boy from harm. She managed to pull him off his feet safely. It is still not known if the young child suffered any injuries. However, we know he would have been a killer if his mother hadn’t caught him quickly.
The incident at the Laureles Colonial Building was shared on Reddit. It has now spread across various social media platforms. Many viewers praised the mother’s reactions. A Reddit user noted that she never dropped her phone.
However, others have slammed the mum, saying it was her fault the little boy jumped the fence in the first place. Others argued that the fence was initially unsecured. While we don’t want to take sides, we hope this mom will keep a close eye on her baby in the future.
