Officer Martin, who started working for the Fort Smith Police Department in Arkansas in 2015, was shopping in Fort Smith one day in November 2019.

While there he was called and told there was a man and a woman with their children, who were trying to steal groceries, Newsweek reported here.

The policeman arrested the man, but not his wife. Before Officer Martin left the store, he paid for the food the couple had tried to steal and gave it to the woman, explaining that he was taking care of paying for the groceries. Advise her to ask for help if she needs help.

This nice officer also told the authorities that he wanted the inmate’s children not to be without food. Officer Kenneth Martin’s heart was in the right place.
