Luna is a very old 14-year-old dog whose eyesight is beginning to decline. It’s not as adventurous as it used to be, so it was really weird when she came home soaking wet from the pool.
Then Caipirinha dove inward as far as he could. So my mom took the pictures for the camera, and that’s when she saw it…
Luna fell into the pool and Caipirinha came to help her without hesitation. I worked to help the panicked big dog to the shallow end of the pool where I managed to get her to safety by her collar. Caipirinha saved his life – what a hero!
Julieta planned to close the pool to prevent this from happening again. And thanks to the Caipirinha, these canine best friends have what it takes to live together!
