Father and daughter dances are commonplace. They occur at schools, clubs, weddings and bat parties.

During a bat mitzvah, Mike Hanley and his daughter would dance a traditional slow dance.

Then his daughter asked him to join her in a faster dance. They planned this little stunt in advance to make the audience laugh.

What did this father do?

Mike Hanley lowered his head, then looked around for a minute. He had to pretend to be ashamed. However, people who know him know that Mike Hanley is not shy.

As a comedian, he regularly performed in front of crowds of strangers.

Before long, Mike Hanley would break a step and have the audience laughing. The routine was designed for him and his daughter. It is unclear whether or not her daughter liked her moves.
