Taylor Swift is reportedly set to provide testimony in the legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, according to court documents filed by Baldoni’s attorney.

The documents, obtained by Page Six on Friday, state that the singer “agreed” to be deposed, provided the judge extends the deadline for her testimony.

Court documents filed Thursday by Baldoni’s team, and obtained by Page Six the following day, revealed Taylor Swift’s potential involvement.

Baldoni’s lawyer, Ellyn S. Garofalo, said the deposition would need to occur “during the week of October 20-25 due to Ms. Swift’s preexisting professional obligations.”

The Grammy winner, whose album The Life of a Showgirl is scheduled for release on October 3, “would be unable to do so” earlier, the filing claimed.

Swift’s lawyers, however, denied she had agreed to testify in a letter to Judge Lewis J. Liman on Friday.

“My client did not agree to a deposition,” they wrote. “But if she is compelled to testify, we advised—after learning about the deposition just three days ago—that her schedule would permit it during the week of October 20.”

Lively’s lawyers pushed back in a new filing obtained by Page Six on Friday, questioning whether the “Cruel Summer” singer had actually agreed to be deposed. They also argued that Baldoni’s team had ample time to schedule the deposition before the discovery deadline.

“In this latest effort, the Wayfarer Defendants assert—though notably without evidence—that Ms. Swift has supposedly ‘agreed’ to sit for a deposition sometime between October 20-25, some three weeks after the close of fact discovery in this matter,” the court documents stated.

“Yet, even if one were to take the Wayfarer Defendants’ representation at face value, they have not come close to establishing good cause for their requested relief.”

Representatives for Swift and Baldoni did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

Swift was first drawn into her friend Lively’s legal battle when Baldoni, 41, referenced the pop star in his January lawsuit, accusing his It Ends With Us co-star of defamation and extortion.

Baldoni filed his lawsuit shortly after Lively sued him, alleging sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy, and lost wages.

In his filing, he claimed that Lively referred to her and husband Ryan Reynolds as “dragons” who protect her in creative battles.

Reports suggested this made the “Bad Blood” singer feel “used” and that she didn’t “appreciate being referred to” in that way.

When Swift was subpoenaed as a witness in May, her representative pushed back, insisting that Swift had no involvement in the August 2024 film’s controversy beyond “permitting the use of one song, ‘My Tears Ricochet.’”

The spokesperson emphasized, “Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, and she did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release.”

The subpoena was later dropped that same month.

Additionally, a judge dismissed Baldoni’s lawsuit in June, though the legal battle with Lively continues.

Baldoni was recently hit with new harassment claims from an unnamed individual, alleging “repeated, negative interactions” and “verbal abuse.” Representatives for Baldoni did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment on the new allegations.

The scandal has reportedly strained Swift and Lively’s friendship. The Daily Mail claimed the “Shallows” actress did not reach out to congratulate Swift on her engagement to Travis Kelce.

“[She] isn’t going to,” an insider said, noting that Lively has “bigger fish to fry.”

Swift has reportedly felt “used” by Lively amid the ongoing drama.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, proposed in August, shortly after Swift appeared on his and Jason Kelce’s podcast, New Heights.

The couple, together since 2023, made headlines for multiple double dates with Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, 48, the following year.

Lively and Swift’s friendship dates back to 2015.
