Surgeons are known to be one of the highest paid humans with outstanding skills that eliminate health risks and save people’s lives. But surgeons are just like other people, they also have hobbies or passions for things.
Dr Elvis Francois and Dr William Robinson have to do delicate procedures every day. The two are both Orthopedic Surgery residents at a top-of-the-line facility, the Mayo Clinic.
Despite being good at their job. The two doctors are still completing their residences, which most people agree are the most exhausting and anxiety-ridden years of a young doctor’s life. While continuing to learn under the tutelage of other seasoned professionals, these doctors often work long hours and see the worst of people.
Francois posted on Facebook, “As health care providers we often meet people at their greatest time of need. And sometimes the best gift you can give is a simple reminder that everything will be alright.”
Sometimes, they need a break… and a reminder that everything’s going to be alright.
Earlier this week, Elvis posted a video of him singing Mike Yung’s single “Alright”, while his colleague, William, plays the piano. Another fellow doctor, Dr. Bayard Carlson, recorded everything on video:
Their inspiring video quickly went viral and is striking a chord with viewers after garnering more than a million views and 20,000 shares.
The doctor said that he still can’t believe everything that has happened, adding that it was just them trying to have fun and what they did seem to convey a message of hope, and that’s what they were aimed at.
