In 2010, Kris Caudilla, 26 years old at the time, crushed into a deputy’s car, killing him in the process. He was driving on the wrong side of the road when this happened. He is currently serving 15 years in prison after being charged with DUI, and manslaughter. There is not a single day that goes by without him thinking of the innocent man he killed, and the family he robbed of a loved one.

In an effort to prevent others from doing the same thing, Caudilla is reaching to others outside of prison and informing them of the risk they pose to others by drinking and driving. Folks at We Save Lives posed an important question to revelers. They asked them, “What if your decision to DUI, was looking right at you?”

In the video below, they teamed up with Caudilla to make it happen. In his correctional facility, located in Florida, he sits in front of a camera as the people drinking at a night club are about to get a special treat. For those in the bathroom see the man in the mirror start to talk to them, they ask if it’s a joke. Sadly no, Kris goes ahead to share his story. If he manages to convince even one person not to drink and drive, it’s a job well done.
