For the past two years, Tannah Butterfield’s foster parents have been doing everything to make sure they make the relationship official. In the process, they have faced several hurdles which have delayed adopting Tannah together with her two siblings.

That means the 6thgrader who comes from South Jordan, Utah has been worried whether she will finally find a permanent home. According to her, her foster parents were loving, caring and gave her all she needed.

That was the case until she was called by Jackie Alexander – the office manager at the school – to her office. The two were good friends and there was nothing special about being called to the office. Alexander knew everything about what Tannah was going through, but on this occasion she had news which was going to change Tannah’s life forever.

Alexander had been called by Tannah’s foster parents informing her that the judge had finally allowed the adoption to go through. They had requested her to inform Tannah about it and that is why she chose the occasion to pass on the news. The clip below capture Tannah’s reaction when she was informed about the judge’s decision. Luckily, Alexander uploaded the clip on her Instagram page and you can watch the emotional moment below.
