Friends will come and go in your life, but more important than how long your friendships last is your friends’ acceptance of you for who you are. A good friend walks the talk and shows that they care by their actions – So, we often show our appreciation with a massive hug before we all begin catching up. But, these two toddlers have already learned our ways…

These kids are called Maxwell and Finnegan. They are two boys ruled by their hearts, as all children should be. And they are incredibly excited to see each other again! The two BFFs ran to each other and gave the biggest hug. And how long had they been apart? Just two days.

Luckily, Maxwell’s dad Michael Cisneros caught the adorable moment on film. “When they are away from each other, they are always asking about one another,” he said. “They go to music class together, Dana Banana (a weekly music event) and they love to dance — both are excellent dancers.”

However, it’s this amazing moment that has solidified their friendship. The toddlers met one year ago, knew immediately that they would be best friends for life. Now, the iconic video has gone viral, and they have a kind of internet fame to cement their friendship. Perhaps they’ll look back at this moment with fondness 50 years from now.

We like to think that these two give each other a massive hug every time they see each other, but who knows really? However, that’s for them to decide. You can see their adorable hug in the video below.

Do you greet your friends like this? But might you start giving out more hugs? Let us know in the comments, and share this story with your friends and family.
