Most of us head out to our office jobs or work from home. However, not everyone has the luxury of doing the white-collar jobs.

Some people are tasked with doing the “dirty” jobs. Jimmie Cox is one person who has to do a few filthy jobs. He is a utility employee working outside Fort Worth in Texas. He faces obstacles most of us would find unimaginable.

Jimmie was servicing a broken water pipe in a home. The water was flowing and it was hard to tell where the leak came from. He decided to do the unthinkable. He dived right into the mess.

The homeowner peeked outside only to find Jimmie’s body submerged in the murky water. She got answered and asked if he was okay with her taking a photo of him.

Jimmie paid no attention and went on with his work. Fortunately, he was able to repair the pipe. He was unaware his photo went viral and it captured Mike Rowe’s attention, the master of “dirty jobs.” He reached out to Jimmie directly.

Mike first question was if it was sewage or water. Jimmie confirmed it was a broken water pipe.

However, that was not the only surprise.
