A woman’s recent Facebook story has gone viral, after getting into a wreck that totaled her car and hearing an unexpected response from a Chick-Fil-A cashier.

Read her post below.

Lindzey Ramirez
Today on my lunch break, I totaled my car. After over an hour of crying on the phone with people, standing in the pouring rain, and arranging information with police, a friend from work picked me up and took me to get food.

We were in the drive-thru at Chick-fil-A on 620/183 in Austin, and the cashier asked us how our days were going. I looked at him and said, “Honestly my day has been horrible. I just wrecked my car, and I’ve been bawling my eyes out. Sorry. You might not want to ask how people are doing if you don’t want the real answer.”

Sweet Sloane paused, went inside, came back with a COOKIE and a GIFT CARD and said, “I am so sorry about your day, but I am declaring peace. I just declare blessings on you. Everything will be okay, and I believe everything will work out better than you expect. Just a little church service in the drive thru for ya!”

I basically cried all over again. Thank you, Sloane, for showing Christ’s love in the worst possible moments. God bless you! I will be sure to pay it forward.
With all the bad news circulating the media, it’s refreshing to see an example of some goodness happening in the world.
